Venetian Bass Violin, Made in Venice Italy, Made circa mid 18th Century with Influence of the Montagnana School of Violin Making.

It Is a 3/4 Violin Cornered Flat Back Model Bass.

  • The Top Table Is a Two Sectional Plate of Slab Cut Fir.
  • The Back Table Is a Two Piece Plate of Slab Cut Poplar.
  • The Ribs Are of Matching Poplar to That of the Back Table.
  • The Scroll Is Original of Poplar with a Slight Figured Maple Neck Graft.
  • The Gears Are Wooden Knob Individual Tuning Gears.
  • The Varnish Is a Deep Reddish Amber.
